Ego Bambe

Hello again...
Sorry updates have been few but TIA (this is Africa) and we have things to do and people to meet :)

I hope you all are well the only news we have heard about America is that there was an earthquake in LA and the GM went bankrupt. So yeah seems as though things are good back home.

Well since our last update we have been at Kabale Trinity College. We are spending most of our time with the teachers. We have gone to a few classes as students and done a few work projects around the campus. We can't believe e only have 3 more days at KTC and we hope to make the most of it. The students were very shy at first and stared at us like as if we were crazy. But they are now starting to warm up to us. We have had some funny interactions with the students, they like to touch our hair, see us dance and hear us sing or teach.

The team is doing well... most of us have gotten colds but are recovering nicely. Other than that we are as healthy as healthy people.
ok well it's time to take kyamushana (lunch)
thank you for all your prayers and notes of love.
Please pray that we make the most out of our last few days here in Kabale.
That's it and we will be back in CA next Thursday!

nice time,

AGANDI!!!!!!!!

We made it to Uganda safely but not our bags. Our bags made it only to London so it was an adventure to get them back. But we have them now and loving our time here. It has been good to connect with old friends and for Amy (me) to meet everyone that I have heard so much about.

This week we are working with Hope Africa. We have been there two days and playing and hanging out with the kids there.

We have been enjoying spending time with our host and his family. Next week we will work with him more and be at his largely expanding school.

All of us are doing very well. No one is hurt or sick so all you moms out there do not worry!

We have already seen the glory of the Lord and many positive changes have happened here in Kabale.

We extend our love to you all from Uganda

Amy and Ruthie

Our team is tardy.

SO...we decided in order to inform the public of our Uganda shenanigans, we must make a BLOG! Right now we are getting ready to pack some extra bags for the trip. We decided that making a team blog would be the most efficient to wait.

Team blog: Check.

We are now off to Fresh and Easy to get some ingredients to make pizza---our last American meal. Bring on the potatoes and mystery meat Uganda.

We leave tomorrow for what we like to call "God's Country" at 12:47 pm. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers as we travel. We can't wait to see how God is going to work. Until the next blog...peace, love, and Uganda :)
